Law Clerk to Judge Lisa Miralles Walsh, J.S.C. August 2018-August 2019
Served a one-year appointment as law clerk to Judge Lisa Miralles Walsh in criminal trial court. Responsibilities included conducting legal research, reviewing moving papers and drafting judicial opinions on pre-trial and post-dispositional motions. Topics of research typically included questions of New Jersey and United States Constitutional law, particularly where relevant to the rights of the accused and the areas of search and seizure. Substantial research and writing efforts are also directed toward resolving evidentiary and procedural issues. Motions decided frequently included motions suppress evidence, compel discovery, dismiss indictments and petitions for post-conviction relief. Spent significant time in attendance of oral arguments, testimonial hearings and trials. 
Also facilitated settlement in civil cases while serving as a court-appointed third-party neutral in the Judiciary's Special Civil and Small Claims Settlement Program.

Representation included successfully arguing a motion to suppress evidence and obtaining dismissals in three other criminal matters.
